If it is a Denver mint coin the mark will be on the edge next to the date. If it is a Philly coin I do not think it has a mint mark.

It's on the edge next to the date for both. Some of the Philly coins were known to come without the edge inscription though (ie the "Godless error").

What Bob said. Look on the third side of the coin. It contains the year the coin was minted, mint mark and E Plurbis Unum.
